Who Owns Merriam Pianos?
Merriam Pianos (Merriam Music America Inc) is owned by pianists and industry experts Alan Merriam and Stu Harrison, with corporate offices in Delaware and warehousing and service facilities in California, Utah, Indiana, and New Jersey. We operate as a sister company to Merriam Music, a major Canadian-based piano retailer and music school in Toronto.
Is Merriam Pianos A Reputable Dealer?

Merriam Pianos was founded in 1988 by Alan Merriam, and has sold in excess of 20,000 pianos since. We have been named a top piano retailer by both NAMM and Music Inc magazine, and are regularly consulted by leading industry executives.

Over 35 years, we have officially represented many major piano brands, including Yamaha, Kawai, Roland, Casio, Nord, Kurzweil, Fazioli, Schimmel, Bechstein, Blüthner, Wilhelm Schimmel, W. Where Do Our Pianos Ship From?

Digital and acoustic pianos purchased through us.merriammusic.com ship from US-based warehouses to homes and businesses in the lower 48 states.

In some cases, certain used or consigned items may ship from outside the US, with all logistics, including border crossings, managed directly by Merriam Pianos.
