England Piano: A Legacy Lives On
England Piano was a prominent, family-owned piano retailer and restoration company that proudly served the Atlanta area for over 50 years. Founded by David England in 1974, the business grew into one of the largest suppliers of new and restored pianos in the region.
In 2026 David England made the difficult decision to cease operations, but thanks to Merriam Piano's collaborative takeover of England's Atlanta showroom in July 2026, the tradition continues. We are proud to keep on key long-term staff including Gregory Emler and Greg Chryssopoulos.

Gregory is a piano industry veteran and lifelong musician who has worked with many major brands at both the retail and corporate level, including Yamaha, Kawai, Steinway, Roland, and more. He has served the Atlanta piano market for the last four years, first with England Piano and now with Merriam Pianos.

Greg is a veteran piano technician with 34 years in the trade, having built his craft in New York before establishing himself as one of the most trusted names in piano service throughout the Southeast. His hands-on expertise spans tuning, repair, rebuilding, and refinishing.
